Course format: On-site
Description:

Majority of the industrial process applications require to move objects and loads during the manufacturing process. The Electrical power is used most of the time, as such motors and drives are the backbone of the industrial applications, automations and robotics.

This course will focus on understanding the motors and drives, and the interaction between motor-drive system and the load. The practical approach of the course is guaranteed by having the students perform hands on work on cutting edge technology drives systems.

The control of the Speed, Torque and Positioning of different types of motors is the focus of this course

This course will:
Provide in depth explanation of the functionality of the most important motors.
Explain the interaction between electrical machines and different types of loads
Provide Claire algorithm for sizing and selection of the electrical motors
Explain the most important parameters of the SCALAR open and close Loop VFD
Describe the best practices of Tuning Close Loop Control Systems
Demonstrate the superiority of the sensor and sensor-less VECTOR and Direct Torque Control Drives
Define the most important applications for different types of drives
Provide the Hands On Demonstration for implementing different control characteristic for an application
Provide the Hands On Demonstration to setup high efficiency systems
