The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business degree in Hospitality Management is one of the oldest and most respected hospitality management programs in the region and has thousands of successful alumni that are employed worldwide. The Hospitality Management degree is one of only a few in the country that is housed within a College of Business that is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). ACBSP is one of the premier organizations supporting, celebrating, and rewarding teaching excellence in business education.

The Hospitality Management curriculum is balanced between theory and practice with hands-on experience incorporating numerous field trips, service learning, and worldwide internships. The program is guided by an active advisory board and classes are taught by expert faculty who are well-connected in the industry and bring relevant knowledge to the classroom. The program offers students a chance to focus their studies in one of four concentrations: Lodging, Food &, Beverage, Events, or Specialized Management. Students complete a Business Core that provides them with a solid background in the principles of accounting, finance, marketing, computer information systems, statistics, and management.

Students have the chance to interact with hundreds of partnering hotels, food service establishments, event venues, and other hospitality related properties in which they can complete two required internships, at 400 hours each for which they are paid. Internships ensure a balance between classroom learning and real-world experience that often opens doors to fulltime employment upon graduation.
