Students will be required to complete and submit an Application for Certification and a fee of $25.00 to the Board of Dentistry as soon as you register to take the Nitrous Oxide Inhalation Monitoring course. This four-hour course is designed to teach dental hygienists and dental assistants the proper procedure for monitoring nitrous oxide-oxygen administered in the dental office.

NOTE: Must be or have one of the following -
1. Certificate as a dental hygienist or dental assistant from a ADA school.
2. DANB Certification.
3. Are an OJT dental assistant who has been on the job for at least 2 years.
