Digital and Radiographic Imaging

In this course, the radiological technologist will review all aspects of imaging technology, including use of computers and lasers. The radiological technologist will understand the practical approach of test and application of techniques, review current technology, quality assurance, environmental issues, pollution, and the implications of imaging technology.

MRI Techniques in Radiology

This course provides radiographers and radiologists with a user ?friendly approach to MRI theory, commonly used MRI techniques as well as pediatric imaging. Participants will focus on how to optimize image quality and how to examine selected anatomic structures. It provides a much ?needed guide to the operations of MR systems and to enhance the education of MR users.




Musculoskeletal MRI

This course will help the Radiology Technologist have a better understanding of musculoskeletal MRI. It provides information on the latest protocols, multiple disease processes, anatomy, and common abnormalities. By having a better understanding of musculoskeletal processes and anatomy you will be better equipped to provide superior patient care and imaging.

Patient Care in Radiography

This course is designed to help radiographers meet patient needs, from introduction to routine procedures, emergency situations and documentation of events in the medical records. The radiographer will review up to date information, technical and interpersonal skills needed to provide quality patient care in a quality environment.

Quality Management in Imaging

This course provides the radiographer with an overview of quality management and its associated topics-quality assurance and quality control-which are vitally important in modern diagnostic imaging departments and for technologists to succeed in the delivery of high quality services.

Radiographic Imaging Sciences

This course provides the radiographer with an overview of radiological science and fundamentals of quality patient care, professional ethics, legal issues, radiology technology and clinical issues.
