The School of Graduate Studies of Chestnut Hill College, through the Department of Professional Psychology, offers the Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. This degree may be earned in one of five areas of concentration: Child and Adolescent Therapy, Co-Occurring Disorders, Marriage and Family Therapy, Treatment of Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Trauma Studies. The Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC) approves the State Certification Program and the Master’s Program in Counseling Psychology. The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) has given approval for the master’s program, which provides State Certification for school counselors.
