The Indoor Environmentalist -Fundamentals Level is designed for people new to the indoor environmental quality consulting industry and those with no prior formal training. The course focuses on an overview of what IEQ is and how to recognize, evaluate and control the indoor environment. It also goes into building science as the backbone for these functions, vocabulary and a public health perspective. IEQ evaluation is commonly a collaborative effort between various disciplines and in this course we go over what disciplines are involved and when you need to bring them into the process.

Any level practitioner will pick up something in this course but it is primarily designed for those with less than 2 years experience performing IEQ investigations. Mold sampling is a small part of IEQ investigations and assessments, asbestos sampling, lead sampling etc. Those with numerous years of experience but within a small segment of the IEQ industry will also benefit from this level of training.
